Unit7 What does he Look Like?

I、教學(xué)分析
1、教學(xué)內(nèi)容
本單元—(Go for it七年級下unit)以Physical apparance為話題,旨在通過單元教學(xué)使學(xué)生掌握一些描述人物外表的新詞匯;學(xué)會詢問并描述人的基本外貌特征;并繼續(xù)學(xué)習(xí)一般現(xiàn)在時的用法。
2、教材分析
將Section A中1 a,1 b,1 c部分設(shè)計為一節(jié)“聽說課”,時間為45分鐘。
Section A 1 a—1 c共設(shè)計了3個任務(wù)型活動。1 a 要求學(xué)生讀圖后將所給描述人物外表的詞匯與相應(yīng)圖片配對;學(xué)習(xí)這些常用的描述人物外貌特征的詞匯,為下面的訓(xùn)練,提供語言材料;1 b 要求學(xué)生聽錄音并根據(jù)所獲信息,將描述Amy’s friend外表的詞匯填在相應(yīng)的橫線上;1 c要求學(xué)生在教師指導(dǎo)下,以pair work的形成口頭練習(xí)“詢問及描述人物外表”的句型。
3、教學(xué)目標
1)知識目標:A、學(xué)習(xí)有關(guān)描述人物外貌的詞匯“hair,curly,straight,tall,medium,height,thin,heavy,build”。
B、熟練掌握談?wù)撊宋锷砀?、體重、發(fā)型等句型,What does your friend look like? She is medium build,and she has long hair。
2)能力目標
Enable the students to listen to descriptions about people’s looks and talk about them。
3)情感目標。
通過本課學(xué)習(xí),培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的正確審美觀,并通過實踐讓學(xué)生體驗學(xué)習(xí)英語的樂趣。
4、教學(xué)重點
A、掌握描寫人物外貌的詞匯和基本句型。
B、學(xué)會描述人物的身高、體重、發(fā)型等外貌特征。
5、教學(xué)難點
How to listen to descriptions about people’s looks and talk about them
1、總體思路
本課采用任務(wù)型教學(xué)法,同時借助多媒體輔助教學(xué),通過設(shè)計競猜、調(diào)查、對話等多項活動,增添課堂教學(xué)的趣味性和互動性,使學(xué)生始終保持濃厚的學(xué)習(xí)興趣,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的參與意識和實踐能力。
2、教學(xué)過程
Step One Leading—in(第1—3分鐘)
T:Hello,children! Did you have a nice weekend?
Ss:Yes…l No,…
T:I was very happy because I had a good time with my new friends Last weekend You know I made many new friends in Wanning Middle School They are friendly to me Do you know what they look like?
Ss:No
T:Look,These are my friends’photos, Let’s meet them one by one.
[設(shè)計說明]以教師的親身經(jīng)歷自然導(dǎo)入新課,激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)新知識的興趣。
Step TwNew words(第4—7分鐘)
1、Present new words
T: Look at this girl,she is Yang yang she is tall,she has long, straight hair. But I am short and have long,curly hair. (Teach thin,heavy, medium height and medium build in the same way)
[設(shè)計說明]利用多媒體呈現(xiàn)新朋友照片,學(xué)生直觀感知生詞,跟讀生詞,初步學(xué)習(xí)生詞,為下面的訓(xùn)練提供語言材料。
2、Practice the new words.(第8-15分鐘)
1)T:Look at 1 a, read the words and phrases after me then match the new words with the pictures as quickly as you can.(Then check the answers)
2)T:Now, boys and girls, I will show you some famous people on the screen quickly Please remenber them and describe them like this:curly hair, short, tall…Clearly?
[設(shè)計說明] 借用多媒體閃電式呈現(xiàn)一個到幾個明星,學(xué)生精力集中,強化所學(xué)生詞,為下一步聽力作輔墊。
Step Three New drills
1、Listening practice (第16-20分鐘)
T:I have a good friend Amy. Now she comes to the station to meet her frind. But there are so many people. She can’t find her friend. Can you help her? Please listen and fill in the blank s in the picture and find Amy’s friend?
[設(shè)計說明] 創(chuàng)設(shè)情境,用過渡語引出要聽的對話,激發(fā)學(xué)習(xí)興趣,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生聽的能力。
2、Practice the drills(第20-30分鐘)
T:Now tell me what Amy’s friend look like?
Ss: She is…,and she has…
T: And I have a good friend in our class.
I will describe her /him to you. Please listen to me carefully and draw the pictures according to what I say and guess who he/she is.
Ss: What does your friend look like?
T: She is…and she has…
She likes…
T: Now I will ask one student to describe his friend in our class, the rest of you guess who he is.
SA: What does your friend look like?
SS: She is…and she has…

3、Make a survey(第31-40分鐘)
T:All of us have a pen pal after we finished learning unit 1. So now let’s make a survey about what your pen pal look like. Work in groups of four and fill in the chart. Then I will ask some students to report it.

[設(shè)計說明] 借助多媒體呈現(xiàn)圖片,結(jié)合中學(xué)生生活體驗,利用此話題培養(yǎng)學(xué)生正確的審美觀。

教學(xué)反思:
(1)通過本節(jié)課的學(xué)習(xí),學(xué)生可以掌握有關(guān)描述人物詞匯、句型。
(2)本節(jié)課充分發(fā)揮了學(xué)生的主體作用,采用任務(wù)型教學(xué)途徑,設(shè)計的任務(wù)貼近學(xué)生的生活,學(xué)習(xí)經(jīng)歷和社會實際,因此,學(xué)生大腦始終處于一種激活狀態(tài),在完成各項任務(wù)的過程中,培養(yǎng)了語言的綜合運用能力。
