巴爾蒂斯

事實上,巴爾蒂斯的畫作確實在少女身上加諸了情色意味。其中,尤以1934年的作品《吉他課》(GuitarLesson)最為臭名昭著。巴爾蒂斯的畫很少公然地表現(xiàn)“性”,但其中的曖昧常常令人不安。巴爾蒂斯的藝術被認為會挑起對青春期少女的性聯(lián)想,因此時至今日依然特別敏感。早年,他的作品一直飽受爭議。但他的高妙筆法依然受到了廣泛喜愛。2001年 2 月 18 日,巴爾蒂斯以 92 歲高齡在瑞士去世時,全球很多報紙以“ 20世紀最后的巨匠”贊譽他的藝術成就。

巴爾蒂斯(Balthus,1908-2001),原名巴爾塔扎·克洛索夫斯基·德羅拉(Balthasar KlossowskideRola),波蘭裔法國畫家,現(xiàn)代藝術家,具象繪畫大師,被畢加索稱為"20世紀最偉大的畫家"。其作品既廣受推崇,又極富爭議,那些描繪青春期少年的作品尤為有名。在現(xiàn)代藝術激烈變革的時代,巴爾蒂斯卻是一位具有古典主義情結的畫家,鐘情于文藝復興時期的藝術,構圖嚴謹,畫面寧靜而抒情。巴爾蒂斯出生于法國的一個波蘭族貴族家庭,父母都是藝術家。他13歲便在德國詩人里爾克的鼓勵下開始作畫,一生沒有受過專業(yè)美術教育,以臨摹名畫來學習技法。1934年就在巴黎舉辦了首場個人畫展,隨后超現(xiàn)實主義者邀他加入,被他拒絕。他獨自一人創(chuàng)作,1950年代中期開始贏得了廣泛聲譽,在紐約現(xiàn)代美術館、威尼斯雙年展、蓬皮杜國家現(xiàn)代藝術博物館、大都會藝術博物館均有展出他的作品。1961年被任命為羅馬法蘭西學院院長,曾獲法國國家藝術大獎(1976年)、日本藝術家協(xié)會國際藝術獎等獎項。1980年威尼斯雙年展特辟專室展出他的繪畫,1983年巴黎蓬皮杜中心舉行“向巴爾蒂斯致敬”的盛大回顧展。而在2001年2月18日,巴爾蒂斯以92歲高齡在瑞士去世時,世界各大報都以“20世紀最后的巨匠”贊譽他的藝術成就。2001年9月至2002年1月,威尼斯格拉西宮舉行最大規(guī)模的巴爾蒂斯回顧展,展出250幅作品,完全肯定了他在美術史上的地位。
