1. Do you like watching the sky?
I didn't realize how much I enjoy watching the sky until I moved to the suburb to live. There are no highrise buildings to block my vision here, so I get to fully appreciate the true colour of the sky with clouds in various shapes and clusters of star. Every so often, I catch the sight of a plane flying by. Now I have begun to count the sky as an important part of the landscape, but prior to it, I saw the space above my head as nothing but void of grey.
2. Do you often take time to watch the sky?
Yes, I do it quite often at the rooftop of my office building or in the courtyard in front of my dorm. I take it as a kind of exercise to stretch my spine and my neck, and it is really helpful to drive away the pain in those parts. When I look into the sky, I need hold my head high like this and keep it for half a minute or so, then I repeat the motion several times. By doing so, I get to watch the sky and work out a bit.
3. Have you ever learned any courses about stars and planets at school?
I remember taking a course called Commonsense at primary school. The teacher taught us many things about the heavenly bodies, like their size, their orbit and what they are made of. Even though I have forgotten most of the knowledge I learned, I do remember how curious we pupils were about what is happening in the universe.
4. Do you like watching stars?
Ah, star gazing... You are talking about one of my favourite activities in the countryside, or at least in the open air. I had wanted to appreciate the starry sky when I was living in downtown but I never could because of the light pollution. Now I can see hundreds of them in the evening sky shining like crystals. They are exactly what poems write.
