今天要介紹一位美國(guó)老牌歌后，50年代最紅的歌手。
華麗醇厚的聲音，與卡朋特的金嗓有幾分相似 。類似她這種自帶唱片畫面的聲線，非常令人迷醉，至今還未有來者……
有時(shí)候會(huì)想，一種聲音對(duì)應(yīng)一個(gè)時(shí)代，她不緊不慢、從容有度的聲音，就是那個(gè)時(shí)代的節(jié)奏吧。
她的歌，需要慢慢聽，值得循環(huán)一個(gè)晚上，一個(gè)下午，一個(gè)白天，在屬于自己的時(shí)間里。
她叫帕蒂.佩姬（Patti Page) ，一個(gè)始終優(yōu)雅的女歌手。
帕蒂.佩姬是大樂隊(duì)時(shí)代排名第 14 位的藝人，在這期間共有上榜歌曲 39 支。她是 50 年代唱片銷售量最大的女歌手。
927 年 11 月 8 日，帕蒂.佩姬出生于俄克拉何馬州的 Muskogee 。她是在Tulsa 地方的無線電臺(tái)開始她的職業(yè)歌唱生涯的。在周末也偶爾參加一些爵士音樂會(huì)。她 Patti Page 的藝名是在 Page Milk 贊助的一個(gè)節(jié)目中起的。即使后來她離開了這檔節(jié)目，這個(gè)藝名卻保留了下來。
她的第一支熱門曲《Confess－坦白》就是這一年的成績(jī)，而且是第一位流行歌星，制作了自己和自己合唱的錄音。
在繼續(xù)取得幾首成功的歌曲后，于1950年，她的一支《With My Eyes Wide Open I’m Dreaming－睜眼夢(mèng)》達(dá)到了唱片銷售百萬張的成績(jī)，這全靠她新型的，自我重唱效果（也被稱為帕蒂·佩奇四重唱）。
還是在 1950 年，《All My Love－我所有的愛》成了她的第一支榜首曲，在榜首停留了 5 周。
同年，她一生中最成功的歌曲《The Tennessee waltz－田納西圓舞曲》則在榜首停留了好幾個(gè)月（此曲被選定為田納西州州歌），被列美國(guó)為最佳銷售單曲之一。在后來的日子里，這支歌曲不下于 6 次步入排行榜前 40 位。
在 1952 年到 53 年間，佩奇還出了兩支大熱門曲《I Went To Your Wedding－我參加了你的婚禮》和《That Doggie In The Window－櫥窗的小狗》，都在榜首停留了 2 個(gè)多月。
此外，還有一首《Cross Over The Bridge－過橋》，也曾非常受歡迎。
一直到 60 年代中期，她一直是排行榜上強(qiáng)有力的競(jìng)爭(zhēng)者；她所演唱的流行歌曲范圍也非常之廣。那時(shí)流行歌曲有“日漸消沉”之勢(shì)，要想到責(zé)任在誰時(shí)，很容易會(huì)追到她的身上。
這是因?yàn)樗珒?yōu)秀了。
帕蒂.佩姬于 2013 年 1 月 1 日去世，享年 85 歲。
