Bristol based freelance illustrator and artist Sarah Dennis started experimenting with art and drawing from a very young age. Inspired by her grandfather’s collection of old books, but also by Japanese art, Sarah combined these two into a beautiful mix of paper cutting and collage.
Each of her works is hand-cut with a craft knife, resulting into intricate illustrations of fairy tales and childhood dreams, telling whimsical stories and poems, all within the paper.
Sarah completed her degree in illustration in 2008, at the University of The West of England, and has used her drawing skills in children’s books, animations, designs, and editorials.
