親愛的朋友們，
這個下午我跟艷婷在想著，怎樣來把這封信寫得更好，讓老師們能領(lǐng)悟到'生物活力有機(jī)農(nóng)耕會議'對老師們的重要性時，我們看著頭上的竹子，陽光透過葉子似乎創(chuàng)造出成百上千、深淺不一的綠來。我相信這正是對我們的華德福教育工作的清晰表述。我們創(chuàng)造性的工作——我們與生命保持聯(lián)系，與我們的根源保持聯(lián)系，并得以自我發(fā)展，進(jìn)而幫助孩子在世上找到他們的路；孩子們需要我們更具創(chuàng)造性，同時當(dāng)我們對他們進(jìn)行教育，還應(yīng)以留心的和具邏輯性的科學(xué)方法看待和指引他們。孩子們需要我們的靈魂帶著一點(diǎn)靈活性，去發(fā)現(xiàn)他們到底是千百種綠中的哪一種。
對生物活力有機(jī)農(nóng)耕的學(xué)習(xí)與實(shí)踐可以創(chuàng)造出一種方式，讓我們總是與生命和大地發(fā)生聯(lián)系，這些都可以帶到教室中的故事、歌曲和健康的課堂節(jié)奏里，還有真實(shí)的、鮮活的四季桌上。我們熱烈地邀請你加入到我們這個'教育者們的百千綠色生物活力有機(jī)農(nóng)耕會議'中來。在這里，教育者的含義是廣泛的，包含了所有在道路或知識上對他人進(jìn)行引領(lǐng)的人。我們尤其歡迎農(nóng)夫和家長。
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
This afternoon as Yanting and I were looking at how to revise this letter so that teacher would grasp the importance of a 'Biodynamic farming conference' for educators, we looked up at the bamboo and saw the sun shining through the leaves creating what seemed to be a thousand shades of green.I believe this is what clearly captures our work with Waldorf Education.Our creative work , and our being in touch with life allows us to develop ourselves so that we can help the children find their own way in the world. Children need us to be creative ,yet observant and logical in a scientific way when we look at them and guide them in education. Children require us to have a flexibility in our soul to see which one of the thousand shades of green they are.
The study and practice of biodynamics can create a way for us to be in touch with life and the earth which we then can bring into the classroom in terms of stories,songs, healthy class room rhythm,and a truly alive nature table. We warmly invite you to join us for this A Thousand Shades of Green Biodynamic Conference for Educators. We use educators in the broadest sense possible,those leading others on a path or knowledge. Farmers and parents are most welcome.
很高興地告訴大家， Hans Mulder 將在11月17日那個星期在廣州給大家做一個生物動力農(nóng)耕講座。
Hans Mulder 在人智學(xué)和生物動力農(nóng)耕方面都有深厚的背景。Hans曾經(jīng)在一個華德福學(xué)校任高中的科學(xué)老師，也曾經(jīng)是實(shí)踐生物動力農(nóng)耕的農(nóng)夫，還曾在一個精神科學(xué)學(xué)校中任班主任， 新西蘭的人智學(xué)團(tuán)體的秘書長。Hans現(xiàn)在的工作是代表歌德堂支持亞太地區(qū)人智學(xué)的發(fā)展和人智學(xué)的實(shí)際工作，比如華德福教育和生物活力有機(jī)農(nóng)耕。（歌德堂是世界人智學(xué)運(yùn)動的中心，也是精神科學(xué)學(xué)校工作室，提供深入研究與合作的會議地點(diǎn)）
I am very pleased to tell you that Hans Mulder will give a biodynamic workshop in Guangzhou the week of November 17.
Hans Mulder has a strong background in many aspects of Anthroposophy, and biodynamics. Hans has been a Waldorf School High School Science teacher,biodynamic farmer,Class holder for The School of Spiritual Science, General Secretary for The Anthroposophical Society in New Zealand. Hans is currently supporting the work and development of anthroposphy and its practical work, such as Waldorf Education and Biodynamics in the Asian-Pacific region on behalf of The Goetheanum.( The Goetheanum is the center for the worldwide anthroposophical movement and the offices of The School of Spiritual Science,which provides a meeting place for further research and collaboration to take place ).
作為人類，我們共同生活在地球上，我們以不同的方式互相影響著。這個講座將給我們一個機(jī)會，找到更積極的方式關(guān)注我們的環(huán)境，那已被習(xí)以為常的環(huán)境。作為教師、家長和農(nóng)夫，我們與大地之間的關(guān)系，將對我們周圍的年輕人及孩子產(chǎn)生極大的幫助。
在過去的20年里，作為一個幼兒園老師，我覺得我的工作是熱愛生命，我也正是這種與大地聯(lián)系的感覺，讓我得以鼓勵孩子全然地生活在他們的生命當(dāng)中。在這些年里，我發(fā)現(xiàn)學(xué)習(xí)大地及生物活力有機(jī)農(nóng)業(yè)的循環(huán)對我的幼兒園工作非常有幫助。生物動力農(nóng)業(yè)將農(nóng)業(yè)與宇宙關(guān)聯(lián)起來，并使實(shí)踐這樣農(nóng)業(yè)的人能在一個堅(jiān)實(shí)的科學(xué)模式指引下工作。我發(fā)現(xiàn)這方面的學(xué)習(xí)對我的幼兒園工作是一個很好的平衡。
As human beings we are all on the earth together being affected by one another's actions in many different ways. This workshop will give us an opportunity to find ways to actively care for our environment which quite often we come to take for granted. As teachers, parents and farmers ,our relationship with the earth can greatly help the young people whom we come in touch with. As a kindergarten teacher over the past 20 years, I feel that my work is to love being alive and to feel that I am connected to the earth so that I can encourage the children to be fully present in their lives. Over the years, I have found the study of the cycle of the earth ,and of biodynamics to be very helpful in my kindergarten work. Biodynamics brings agriculture into relationship with the cosmos ,and it allows the individual to work with a very solid scientific model. I have found this kind of study to be a good balance to my kindergarten work.
在中國這四年的教學(xué)生涯中，我發(fā)現(xiàn)環(huán)境的問題是如此的挑戰(zhàn)。在我做關(guān)于人智學(xué)之外的健康與發(fā)展的講座時，我知道每個人都在與空氣污染、水體污染、食物防腐劑、價格高企的有機(jī)食物等問題作斗爭，也都在關(guān)注食物安全問題（比如最近發(fā)生的牛奶危機(jī)）。另一方面，我的很大部分的工作是幫助老師和家長重新回到與自然相聯(lián)系的狀態(tài)。目前在工作，大部分教育者的工作是幫助家長和孩子學(xué)習(xí)如何探索、創(chuàng)造、變得臟一些，讓他們學(xué)習(xí)用不同的方式看待生活。當(dāng)我們開放了思想和心靈，便開始發(fā)現(xiàn)解決我們面臨的問題其實(shí)有許多方法。我們希望這個講座能幫助人們與自己所說的建立起真實(shí)的關(guān)系，與我們經(jīng)常唱的'感謝大地母親和天空爸爸'那些語句有真實(shí)的關(guān)系。如果我們跟孩子說的話是沒有意義的，我們就沒有辦法滋養(yǎng)他們的心靈。
我衷心地希望你能夠騰出一個星期的時間來，參加這個講座，與其他同樣懷有相同希望和愿意在中國發(fā)展真正的健康和教育的朋友相聚。
In the last four years in my teaching in China,I have found the environmental problems to be quite challenging. As I give lectures on good health and development out of anthroposophy, I know that everyone is struggling with air pollution,water pollution, food with pesticides,unrealistic prices for organic food, and concerns about food safety such as the current milk crisis. Also,a large part of my work has been to help teachers and parents get back in touch with what is nature. At this time in China, a large part of the educators work is to help the parents and children learn to explore,create,get dirty,and to learn that there are many different ways to look at life.As we open our minds and hearts to new ideas,we can began to find a variety of solutions to the problems we are facing.We hope that this workshop will help people to develop a living relationship to the words we often sing to thank the mother earth and the father sky. If we give the children words withour meaning,we can not nourish their souls.I wholeheartedly encourage you to give a week of your time to study and meet with others who have similar hopes and interests to develop real health and education in China.

We hope that teachers through out China will find time to attend this conference that we are most fortunate to create. We fully realize that the timing of this workshop is indeed awkward as the conference is mid -week in a non-holiday time. However,as I have been to many schools I have seen that your classrooms are mostly overstaffed. I believe with some careful planning,schools could send one participant to this workshop. I would like to encourage you to look at ways that the children could be cared for in the best possible way ,that would allow your school to send a colleague.Perhaps your school could consider a parent helping out in the classroom if need be, or perhaps your school has a parent who could attend the conference.

目前會議正在計(jì)劃階段，因此我們需要你們的意見。現(xiàn)在的計(jì)劃是請Hans在上午的時候做講座和做一些生物動力農(nóng)業(yè)方面的實(shí)操工作。而在下午的時候，我們計(jì)劃去做一些與自然相關(guān)的手工，也許是自然染布，孩子的手工（）或木工。還會有關(guān)于如何令幼兒園培訓(xùn)和小學(xué)培訓(xùn)更完整和全面方面的內(nèi)容.

We are currently in the planning stages of the conference. We are asking for your ideas as we create the conference. Currently the plan is to have Hans give lectures and do practical work on biodynamics in the morning. In the afternoon,the developing plan is to do hand work which is closely related to nature,which could be natural dyeing,children's handwork out of found objects,wood work. There will be time for discussions which can help
> >> make the your kindergarten or grade school training to be more complete and well rounded.If you are a farmer,or a gardener ,we hope that you would benefit from learning about a new kind of agriculture. Your experience with the earth would enrich our teachers experience.We are actively seeking your thoughts and wish to know your needs.
