本項(xiàng)目位于中國揚(yáng)州,是紙水設(shè)計(jì)的首個實(shí)地工作室。在設(shè)計(jì)之初,兩位創(chuàng)始人意欲打造一個自然、感性、自在的工作空間。
This project is located in Yangzhou, China, which is the first field studio of Paper Water Design. As the design started, the two founders intended to create a workspace for nature, emotion and comfort.
ONE.
隨性自由的創(chuàng)意空間
Space for Free Creation
工作室坐落于建筑的二層,入口處的logo以及體塊穿插的幾何形體造型定義了空間的功能屬性。The studio is on the second floor of the building. The logo at the entrance and the geometric shape interspersed with blocks define the functional attributes of the space.設(shè)計(jì)師將入口退離建筑主動線,同時在室內(nèi)讓渡出寬闊的門廳空間,看似是空間的浪費(fèi),但合度的浪費(fèi)為空間塑造了延展性和流通性。Designers remove the entrance from the active line of the building and releases a wide lobby indoors at the same time, which seems to waste space. However, the reasonable waste helps the space show the ductility and circulation.白色墻體與通透的組合裝置亦虛亦實(shí),分割了空間,與后方的辦公區(qū)域互為前后景,指引體驗(yàn)者往縱深去。
The white wall and transparent combination device separate the space, which interact with the rear office area as the front and back scenes respectively, guiding the audience to go in depth.
綜合辦公區(qū)由一張3.8米長的大桌為中心構(gòu)成,簡潔利落,無分割無遮擋,方便隨時可以開啟的一場頭腦風(fēng)暴。The comprehensive office area is composed of a large table with 3.8m length as the center, which is simple and neat. With no segmentation and shelter, it is convenient to start a brainstorming at any time.綜合辦公區(qū)東側(cè)是開放的會客區(qū),會客區(qū)按照家居生活中常見的客廳排布方式布置,希望為客人消弭公共空間所帶來的陌生壓迫,感到怡然與舒適。The east side of the comprehensive office area is an open reception area, where there is some furniture based on the common living room layout in home life. It is expected to eliminate the strange oppression brought by public space for guests, so as to make them happy and comfortable.空間兩側(cè)為兩位主創(chuàng)的獨(dú)立辦公室,保障創(chuàng)作時所需要的私密、安靜的氛圍。兩間辦公室同時承載了辦公、私人會客、小樣展示等功能,同時也為設(shè)計(jì)師未來個人風(fēng)格化預(yù)留出充裕的空間。On both sides of the space are independent offices for two main founders. It can ensure the private and quiet atmosphere required for creation. The two offices also carry the functions of office work, private reception and sample display, and reserve sufficient space for the designers' personal style in the future at the same time.TWO.
質(zhì)樸包容的素凈之美
Beauty of Simplicity and Inclusiveness
此次設(shè)計(jì)中,設(shè)計(jì)師對色彩、材質(zhì)運(yùn)用克制且考究。目之所及的唯有溫潤的木、公允的白以及空間各處散落著的乖張的紅。色彩的統(tǒng)一與對比,表達(dá)澄明寂然下的暗潮涌動。
For this project, designers are restrained and exquisite in color and material.Only the warm wood and fair white, as well as the perverse red scattered everywhere in the space can be caught by the eyes. The unity and contrast of colors express the wave under the clarity and silence.空間中大面積的運(yùn)用了百葉簾。在早晨和傍晚時刻,空間會迎來百葉簾制造的光之藝術(shù),細(xì)密的光影鏈接起空間的內(nèi)部與外部,打造不可預(yù)測的形式美感。Shutters are used in a large area of the space, which can create the art of light in the morning and evening. The fine light and shadow connect the interior and exterior of the space to create an unpredictable formal beauty.而百葉簾下安置的彩色燈帶被潔凈的空間過濾了浮躁炫目,留下了純粹的色彩屬性和光的通透輕盈,偏安一隅。The colorful light belt placed under the shutter is filtered by the clean space, leaving a pure color attribute and light permeability.
由海洋樺木板打造的矮柜只做了簡單的打磨,滿足使用功能的前提下保留了木制材料原始的粗礪質(zhì)感,樸素安靜。The low cabinet made of sea birch wood has only been simply polished. On the premise of meeting the use function, it retains the original rough texture of wooden materials, which shows simplicity and peace.自然無為即為“道”。具象的石塊與植物,抽象的月球與砂巖,它們或粗糙,或平滑,但均具備著“溫潤包容”的內(nèi)在含義。這些意向在空間中自由的存在與生長,深化了空間在東方美學(xué)上的表達(dá)。Inaction thought of nature is "Tao". No matter they are the concrete stones and plants, or abstract moon and sandstone, no matter they are rough or smooth, they all have the internal meaning of "warm and inclusive". The free existence and growth of these intentions in space deepens the expression of space in oriental aesthetics.THREE.
謙遜自省的設(shè)計(jì)姿態(tài)
Design Attitude of Modesty and Introspection
設(shè)計(jì)師用“去裝飾性”的手法來設(shè)計(jì)空間,在功能與美感之間尋求有機(jī)結(jié)合。這是實(shí)用主義的一種表達(dá),同時作為紙水設(shè)計(jì)的首個工作室,設(shè)計(jì)師希望通過樸實(shí)內(nèi)斂的空間氛圍來陳述自我的設(shè)計(jì)姿態(tài):設(shè)計(jì)作品可以是多視角、多風(fēng)格的,但“設(shè)計(jì)”本身應(yīng)當(dāng)平實(shí)、落地、“去浮華”,應(yīng)當(dāng)承擔(dān)社會責(zé)任,應(yīng)當(dāng)遵循自然與客觀,應(yīng)當(dāng)回到解決問題的本質(zhì)。
Designers use the technique of "de-decoration" to design and seek an organic combination between function and beauty, which is an expression of pragmatism. Moreover, as the first studio of Paper Water Design, designers hope to use a simple and restrained space atmosphere to state the design attitude: design works can have multiple perspectives and styles, but the "design" itself should be plain, accessible and "de-flashy", therefore, it should bear the social responsibility, follow the nature and objectivity, and return to the essence of solving problems.

忠于自我的擇物意識
Choosing Consciousness of Loyalty to Oneself
“凡心所向,素履所往,生如逆旅,一葦以航?!痹谖镔|(zhì)時代的語境下,忠于自我意識的表達(dá)才能獲得更真實(shí)的共鳴。設(shè)計(jì)師不希望在空間中投入過多目的性,于是剝離了社會屬性的偽裝,真誠地剖析、袒露自我,期望搭建出個性化但不被時髦所鉗制的空間,而后與空間共度時間,構(gòu)建珍視自我、包容平和的內(nèi)心秩序。"Where the heart goes, you can go even in the ragged; Life is not straight forward, you can sail even in a small boat." Under the background of the material age, the expression of loyalty to self-consciousness can obtain more real resonance. Designers do not want to invest too much purpose in the space, so, they tear off the disguise of social attributes to sincerely analyze and expose themselves. They hope to build a personalized space that is not clamped by fashion, and then they can spend time with the space to build an inner order that cherishes themselves with inclusiveness and peace.
