Step 5. 知識拓展
1. also, too, either, as well與as well as的正確用法。這幾個詞都可表示“也”,但用法不同。
also較正式,位置通常接近動詞,不用于句末。在表示強調(diào)時,也可以用于句末。
如:He also plays the guitar. 他也彈吉他。
too多用于口語,位置通常在句末,前面用逗號;也可以在句中,前后都有逗號。在簡略答語中,too常位于賓語代詞之后。
如:He is a worker, too. 他也是一個工人。
--I want to eat an apple. 我想吃個蘋果。--Me, too. 我也是。
either用于否定句中,一般位于句末。
如:He doesn’t like mutton, either. 他也不喜歡羊肉。
as well 也多用于口語中,但只用于句末。通常用于肯定句中,前面不用逗號。
如:He plays the guitar as well. 他也彈吉他。
as well as 作連詞,意為“也,還,而且”,用來連接兩部分。
如:I like TV plays as well as movies. 我喜歡電視和電影。
當(dāng)as well as 連接兩個名詞或代詞做主語時,謂語動詞在人稱和人數(shù)上要與第一個名詞或代詞一致。如:Your mother as well as your grandparents is going to take you to the cinema. 你母親和你祖父母要帶你去電影院。
