新目標(biāo)八年級下冊Unit 2 Reading教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)與反思
一:教材分析:本課是新目標(biāo)英語八年級下冊第2單元閱讀部分,本單元的語言目標(biāo)是“Talk about problems and give advice”(談?wù)搯栴}并給出建議),學(xué)習(xí)should/could+動詞原形來表示征求和提供建議的方法。這篇閱讀文談?wù)摿水?dāng)今世界上存在的一個(gè)嚴(yán)重的問題——壓力問題。尤其是學(xué)生們感到的壓力更大。在教學(xué)本節(jié)課時(shí),我采用通過師生對話,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生發(fā)現(xiàn)問題、分析問題、解決問題來獲得知識,強(qiáng)調(diào)自學(xué)與合作學(xué)習(xí),在完成任務(wù)的同時(shí)學(xué)習(xí)語言。同時(shí)在閱讀文章,理解文章,分析文章之后做適當(dāng)擴(kuò)展和延伸。讓學(xué)生們在學(xué)完本課后,學(xué)會在學(xué)習(xí)和生活中遇到壓力時(shí),會正確對待,并找出好的辦法緩解壓力。
二:教學(xué)目標(biāo):(1)知識目標(biāo):學(xué)習(xí)詞匯 football,until,fit, include, pushy, push, send, compare, crazy, themselves, adult, freedom和短語take…to…., not…until…,fit…into…
Complain about…, take part in…, all kind of .compare… with …, on the one hand. … On the other hand,
(2)能力目標(biāo):
1,通過本篇閱讀的學(xué)習(xí),使學(xué)生能夠在工具書的幫助下,完成閱讀任務(wù),并形成一種技能,為終身學(xué)習(xí)打下基礎(chǔ)。
2,提高學(xué)生思考問題和解決問題的能力。學(xué)會合作學(xué)習(xí),互相幫助完成學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù)。
3,通過閱讀了解英美國家的父母和孩子所面臨的壓力問題,用本單元所學(xué)的重點(diǎn)句型來解決生活中的問題。
(3)情感目標(biāo):
1,讓學(xué)生學(xué)會正視生活中的壓力,并找出好的辦法緩解壓力。
2,培養(yǎng)獨(dú)立自主自立自強(qiáng)的精神。碰到問題不退縮,想辦法解決問題,不能解決的應(yīng)該求助于父母,朋友,親戚或者心理醫(yī)生。
三:教學(xué)重難點(diǎn):
重點(diǎn):掌握本課的重點(diǎn)詞匯,短語于句型
難點(diǎn):利用詞典理解生詞在句中的意思,并理解文章的意思。
四:教學(xué)方法:小組討論,自主學(xué)習(xí)
五:教學(xué)步驟:
Step One: Leading in
1. The teacher asks some students the questions. What do you do after school every day? What do you usually do at home on weekends? Quit a few students answer: They spend more time doing homework instead of doing sports and they feel very tired.
2. The teacher says: ok! I know you are very tired. You have much homework to do. Like English homework, math homework, Chinese homework, history homework, and so on. You have to study for tests. For your future, you have to study harder and get higher grades. So you are under too much pressure. You need to find some ways to relax. Now,. Please open your books to Page16.
Step Two: Pre-task
1. Please look at section 1.1a. Ask: Do you often do after---school activities? What after---school activities do you often do? Say; please complete the boxes of section 1. 1a.
2. Work in groups. The students discuss and complete the boxes.
3. The teacher say: For understand the ideas or the text, please look at the words. Do you know their ideas? If not, please look up them in a dictionary and
Check (√) each one when you understand.
Step Three: While-task
1.The teacher say: You feel unhappy because you are under too pressure in school
Do you want to know the students’ lives in other countries?
2 The students read the text quickly and answer the following questions.
①Who is Cathy Taylor? (A mother of 3 children)
②Why is she so busy? Do the children have free time?
③What do teachers complain about the kids?( They complain about teaching tired students)
④What do the children do after school? What activities do they usually take part in?
⑤Who is Dr Alice Green? (A psychologist) What does she say? What else do children need? (On the one hand, children need organized activities. On the other hand, they need time and freedom to relax, they also need understand from parents)
3. Get the students to read the passage once more with the following statements in mind, and then do TRUE or FALSE!
1) Cathy Taylor’s three children are very free, and they often get home early.( F )
2)The Taylors never take their children to after---school activities or try to fit as much as possible into their kids’ lives.( F )
3) Parents see other children taking part in after---school clubs, but they think their own children should relax.( F )

Step Four: Post-task
⑴ First, let the students find the following works and phrase in the article, and then read the new words and expressions by themselves ;Then the teacher correct mistakes if any.
Not…until 直到…才 it’s time for…該是……的時(shí)候 fit 適合;適應(yīng)as much as possible盡可能多under pressure 有壓力
complain about抱怨 take part in 參加 include 包括,包含
pushy 一意孤行的 send to 發(fā)送到 all kinds of 各種;許多compare ….with 和…比較 crazy 瘋狂的 push督促
themselves 他們自己adult 成年人on the one hand 在一方面organized 有組織的on the other hand 在另一方面freedom 自由
⑵ Ask the students to read the passage after the tape by themselves .(Teacher doesn’t use the pause key)
⑶ Give several minutes to the students and encourage them to retell the passage with their own words.
⑷ Explain the language points.

Step Seven: Sum up
Today we learn the text “Maybe you should learn to relax”. Then what can we learn from the text? When I feel under pressure, we should learn to relax. We also should have good ways to relax. For example, I could eat healthy food, try to have a good life habit, do sports, talk with others, and try to be outgoing and so on.
Step Eight: Homework
以“ How do you get on well with your classmates?”為標(biāo)題寫一篇英文短文。字?jǐn)?shù)60—80字。
六:教學(xué)反思:根據(jù)《英語新課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》的規(guī)定,英語教師應(yīng)學(xué)會充分利用內(nèi)容豐富、體裁廣泛的閱讀短文,幫助學(xué)生提高捕捉短文細(xì)節(jié)、歸納中心思想、根據(jù)上下文進(jìn)行猜測詞語、根據(jù)短文進(jìn)行邏輯推理等英語閱讀能力。在進(jìn)行閱讀課教學(xué)時(shí),我們應(yīng)該注重培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的以下幾種閱讀技巧。第一、找出段落的主題句。第二、略讀和跳讀。第三、通過上下文猜測詞義。第四、預(yù)測和推斷。
閱讀教學(xué)既是初中英語教學(xué)的重點(diǎn),也是教學(xué)上的難點(diǎn)。學(xué)生通過閱讀學(xué)習(xí)詞匯、句型和語法等基礎(chǔ)知識,同時(shí)還可以獲取英語信息,了解英語國家的社會文化。所以英語教師應(yīng)根據(jù)一篇具體的閱讀文章特點(diǎn),設(shè)計(jì)各種各樣的練習(xí),幫助學(xué)生掌握所讀文章的主題思想,抓住文章的重要細(xì)節(jié),即理解字面的意思,又理解上下文的邏輯關(guān)系,快速、準(zhǔn)確、高效地獲取所需信息。這樣的教學(xué),不僅有利于學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)語言基礎(chǔ)知識,獲得豐富的語言信息,同時(shí)還能掌握獨(dú)立的閱讀技巧,從而使學(xué)生增長了知識,開闊了視野,激發(fā)了興趣,發(fā)展了思維,而且還培養(yǎng)出獨(dú)立的閱讀能力和形成良好的自主學(xué)習(xí)能力。
